One Shell Apple Pie

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1/2 cup milk
• 4 cups sliced apples
• 1 teaspoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1/2 pint heavy cream

Procedure

1. Make shell first - use unbaked. Pie Crust or Easy Pie Crust
2. Beat egg
3. Add 2 tablespoons sugar, flour, salt and mix well
4. Scald the milk and add to the beaten egg then set aside
5. Peal and slice apples
6. Arrange apples in shell
7. Sprinkle sugar, flour, salt, mixture over apples
8. Pour egg and milk mixture over the apples
9. Top with chopped nuts
10. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour
11. After pie is cool refrigerate
12. After pie is cold top with 1/2 pint heavy cream
